Design of micro-perforated PTFE mould for manufacture of Paneer,Cheese and Tofu using finite element analysis

The idea of utilizing a micro-perforated PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene) mould to manufacture paneer, cheese, and tofu was conceived designed, developed tested. PTFE is intended work at temperature 65 110ºC, 200 kPa inside pressure. This new generation pressing contains micro perforations 300μmdiameter which are drilled using advanced high precision 4 3axis CNC machines. There will be failure (due induced hoop stress) in the when Von Mises(equivalent) stress generated more than yield virgin (30 MPa). Wall thickness optimized by Finite Element Analysis (FEA) hyper tetrahedron meshing ANSYS- 22. results obtained from analysis were expressed as Mises stress, deformation factor safety. A design software ASME employed validate shell thickness. model prediction shown good agreement with analytical calculation. Micro-perforated fabricated per FDA, c-GMP standards 6.00 mm thick material. FEA resulted Stress 14.7 MPa, 2.1535×10-10 m safety 2.04. working drawings actual fabrication carried out adopting prescribed sanitary standards. Satisfactory production paneer newly designed excellent quality product.
